meet   TRAVELS IN FLIP FLOPS

Hi, we are Gareth and Dani, Travels in Flip Flops.

Our travels started in 2013. I lost my job of 14 years and instead of looking for another one I took my money and ran as far away as I could for as long as I could.

When I left the UK I wanted to keep a diary of our adventures to look back on and I also wanted a way to share our stories with our friends back home. This is how our blog began.

All of our posts are and always will be honest. The good, the bad, the funny and the frightening, it's all documented as it happened. You won't find any AI articles or 'Living my best life' influencer style posts, just good honest blogging and travel writing. Two normal folks from the North East of England sharing their story.
